CHANGES

Airlines generally charge a fee for changes. In addition to these fees, Sky-tours charges a $55/50EUR handling fee per person. However, we would like to remind you that based on the fare, the airline may not allow any changes. To request a cancellation, please open a support ticket here http://www.sky-tours.com/support/ or send an email to support@sky-tours.com

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION

In order to fly, you need to provide the required official documents (passport, identity card, visa, etc.). In addition to your passport, some countries also require a visa.

The specific administrative authorities will notify you of the formalities you need for a trouble-free stay (passport, visa, and vaccines). It is your responsibility to comply with these formalities. You cannot request a reimbursement if you are denied boarding because you have not presented the required documents (passport, visa, vaccination certificate, etc.). It is the passenger's responsibility to have the necessary documents for traveling.

ETICKETS

An electronic ticket or e-ticket is recorded directly in the airline's computer. No printed ticket will be sent to you but a link to your e-ticket in case you want to print it. You simply need to go to the airport with the required official document (identity card or passport) as well as your reservation number and go to the airline's check-in desk to get your boarding pass.

SCHEDULE CHANGES

All airlines periodically adjust their flight schedules. It is solely the passenger's responsibility to check flight times and reconfirm reservations, within 72 hours of departure. You, at any time, must check the status of your booking using the link included in your confirmation email or using our website, you will need your booking number and last name in the reservation. If any schedule change has occurred to your flights, you will be asked to contact our 24/365 support center for assistance. Sky-tours will not be responsible for any missed flights due to schedule changes by the airlines.

RESERVATION NAMES

All reservations must be made in the name of the person(s) traveling - no nicknames. For international travel, the name on the reservation must be EXACTLY as it appears on the traveler's passport. It is not possible to change a name: we are obliged to cancel the ticket and issue a new one. This formality may entail losing the total amount paid for the original ticket, and at best only the airline's cancellation and handling fees and Sky-tours fee.Once the first departure date has passed, unused tickets have no value.

SEAT ASSIGNMENTS and MEALS

Seat assignments and special meal requests will be conveyed to the airlines, but cannot be guaranteed. Seats for all passengers traveling together will be selected automatically and adjacent to the primary passenger, based on best seats available at the time of the request.

UNACCOMPANIED MINORS

Can a child travel alone?

Any child aged 4 to 12 years of age may travel alone provided a support service is booked with the airline. These children are required to travel as a UM (Unaccompanied Minor) and placed under the responsibility of the airline staff who will accompany them during the various stages of the journey.

This airline may levy a charge for this service. Please note that some companies do not offer this service, including British Airways , American Airlines and low-cost carriers such as Ryanair, Easyjet, and Vueling.

At the airport

Upon check-in, the child is taken care of by the airline and will be accompanied by the airport security to the departure lounge before being handed over to the cabin crew for their flight. It is recommended that parents stay at the airport until the aircraft has taken off.

At the arrival airport, the cabin crew will hand the child to the ground staff who will escort them through immigration, customs and to the baggage reclaim. The child will then be handed over to the waiting adult. Please be aware that the ground staff is likely to ask the adult for identification.

A passenger aged 12-17 years, legally considered a minor, can travel alone. They may also have the same care at the parents' /guardians request. This is an optional service.

Before you pay

You can book unaccompanied minors of any age (above 2 through 17) on our website but please contact the airline always before purchasing your ticket on our website.

In some cases, you may need to contact the embassy of destination and stopover country for details. When you book a flight for a minor person we assume that:

- You have already made or will make another booking for an adult accompanying passenger on the same flight through us or another agency or through the airline, or

- You already know the conditions for unaccompanied minors of the all operating carriers booked and will process the application for UM service with the carriers yourself.

Carriers may charge a fee for this service. In most cases, we are not able to support your UM request after the ticket has been issued and give no guarantee. After receiving such a reservation, Sky-tours will not be responsible for the operability of the flight transport and can give no guarantee that the minor person will be accepted for check-in. Notably, Sky-tours will not be responsible for a loss of ticket price or replacement of the value of the ticket, therefore we advise you to consult with the airline and ultimately make the booking directly with them to avoid inconveniences.
